WHAT IS EXPECTED  

Rule #1

Have FUN with it!

The more fun and energy you have in your LIVE, the better your engagement will be. Interact as comments come in... Acknowledge the viewers! Don't worry about being perfect. Going LIVE is a chance to show your authentic personality.

Rule #2

Be ready to bring value!

Of course, LIVEs are a good opportunity to promote your B2B products or services, but your main goal should be to use your time to educate and bring value to the SBOU members. 90% of your LIVE should be focused on education and bringing value and only 10% should spent on promotion. For a 60 minute show less than 10 minutes should be promotion, and for a 30 minute show less than 5 minutes.

Seriously. If you don't follow this rule we may have to cancel your subscription.

Rule #3

Know and be conscientious of your audience!

Our golden rule at SBOU is to be Kind and Courteous...  Be conscientious about your content. While politics and religion do have an impact on the small business economy, and are sometimes interwoven into our businesses, be considerate about alienating SBOU group members. Limit cussing and avoid using hurtful, offensive language.

No really... if you break this rule we may need to discontinue your subscription. 

Rule #4

Watch your time!

You will be responsible for booking your time slots in our Acuity scheduling system.  Make sure your show ends promptly on time to be considerate of the next speaker.  If you purchase the Premium Subscription, be sure to also book your replays & watch parties to ensure you are not replaying your show during someone else's LIVE program.  

For realsies... don't encroach on others' time slots please.
